The Connecticut Center for Health utilizes natural treatment methods that activate your innate healing mechanisms. Below are descriptions of some of the modalities of treatment that our health care providers use:
Intravenous Therapy (IV)
What is it ? IV therapy Is the delivery of therapy through intravenous (IV) administration.
The following substances are available for IV administration.
Myers Cocktail: well-known and well-researched vitamin and mineral IV infusion, excellent for acute illness and overall wellness
Methylcobalamin B12 Injection: a vitamin essential to normal blood cell and nervous system function, excellent for fatigue and detoxification (covered by insurance)
Vitamin C (Low-Dose to High-Dose): a natural antioxidant useful in supporting healthy and normal detoxification and acute illness
Glutathione: the body’s most important antioxidant
Viscum Therapy: an effective anti-cancer treatment utilizing the extract of mistletoe, used commonly in Germany
What is it ?
Ozone (O3), a gas discovered in the mid-nineteenth century, is a molecule consisting of three atoms of oxygen.
Ozone is created by using an ozone generator which turns the pure oxygen into a certain concentration used for treatment. The gas can be bottled but only has a 45-minute half-life. It is then delivered to the body in several ways. The way the treatment is administered will be dependent on your condition and the best way to provide healing properties.
One way in which ozone therapy can be provided is major autohemotherapy. Several conditions can benefit from this method including cancer, hepatitis, Lyme disease and autoimmune diseases. With this treatment, a small amount of blood is removed from the patient and mixed with ozone. The blood is then transfused back into the body which provides an ozone/oxygen mix into the bloodstream. The mix is exposed to every cell, with unhealthy cells being destroyed.
Another form of ozone treatment is injections. Sports injuries, cancer, shingles, meniscal tears and herniated discs can benefit from this treatment type. The area where treatment is needed will be numbed with anesthesia and then the ozone injected close to the affected area. For cancer, this would be the site of a tumor, with shingles near the affected nerve root and so on.
Rectal ozone is a common therapy type as well where the ozone flows through the rectum with a cannula. Concentrations of ozone are set based on the individual. If intestinal issues are present, such as lining in need of repair, then a lower dosage will be used. Issues such as ulcerative colitis bleeding would require a higher dosage. Additional conditions can be treated with this method such as Alzheimer’s.
Ozone can also be provided in the ear canal or vagina, depending on the condition. Vaginal ozone treatments are used to help with a vaginal infection as well as sexually transmitted diseases. With ear canal treatment, such issues as brain cancer or tinnitus are the conditions treated.
It is indicated as a treatment in the following conditions :
Diabetes mellitus Type II, some Cancers, Chronic Disease, Autoimmune Disease, Pain, Aging, Herpes I and II, Ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease, Allergies, Eczema and Compromised Immune Systems
Platelet Rich Plasma
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) – Injection Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) for acute and chronic pain, hair loss, facial rejuvenation, erectile dysfunction in men and incontinence in women
These injections are used to promote healing within the body. By using your own blood we can create a concentrated enriched plasma that can stimulate cellular repair in the body.
PRP is an excellent source of growth factors, clotting factors, immune-modulating compounds,
enzymes, and enzyme inhibitors that regulate local inflammatory responses and encouraging tissue growth and repair. This therapy is used for musculoskeletal and soft-tissue repair, cartilage regeneration, wound healing, hair growth promotion, and skin remodeling and rejuvenation.
